Cooma's Avenue of Flags
Known as the Gateway to the Snowy Mountains, Cooma is the largest
town in the Snowy region. A hundred kilometres south of Canberra on the Monaro
Highway, Cooma is easily accessed from Sydney via the Hume Freeway. The town
is the major service centre for the Snowy Mountains region.
Many interesting and entertaining visitor attractions are situated within
easy driving distance of Cooma. Your hosts at the White Manor Motel would

The White Manor Motel is a great base for exploring the Snowy
Mountains, the Kosciuszko National Park, trout fishing in Lake Eucumbene or
just relaxing in the pristine mountain environment. There are plenty of attractions
and activities available in the nearby townships of Jindabyne, Adaminaby,
Thredbo, Berridale and other regional centres. The mighy Snowy Mountains Scheme
also have their headquarters in Cooma, and maintain an Information Centre
for the benefit of visitors.
